Lord Vishnu#5

Nar-Narayana Avatar

At the beginning of creation, Lord Vishnu incarnated in two forms to establish the religion. In this incarnation, he was wearing jute on his head. Swan in his hands, chakra and thoracic stages: in the place were the signs of Shreevatsa.

Nara and Narayana are the two twin sage avatars of Lord Vishnu. They were born to ensure truth, justice, righteousness, and other elements of Dharma on Earth. The brothers were so mighty that they were able to overpower Pashupathastra, a destructive weapon of Shiva, through their meditation.

Their entire dress was similar to the ascetics. According to religious texts, Lord Vishnu took this embodiment in the form of Nar-Narayana.
