Akhiri panne

Aj man kuch udas hai, shayad kuch kehne ki chah hai,

lagta hai jindagy ke akhiri pannon per kuch khas likhun,

kuch kahi kuch ankahi kahaniyan reh gai…

kuch baten thi jo juban per ane se reh gai…

ek vo din the jab kuch lamhe apne lie talasha kie,

ek ye din hai ki tanhaiyan kate nahi kat-ty,

kuch lafz hain jo juban per ane se darte hain,

kuch khayal hain jo dil me hi ghut jate hain,

kya kahun , kahan chup reh jaun,

kiske kandhon per sir rakhun, kiske sir pe hath rakhun,

lagta hai ki jindagy ke akhiri pannon pe kuch khas likhun.

I’m a little sad today, may be I want to say something,

I feel like writing something special on the last pages of my life

There are some untold stories in my thoughts,

There were some things that remained on the mind

There was a time when I searched for few moments alone,

It’s also a day when loneliness doesn’t seem to go

There are some words which I am afraid to say,

There are some thoughts that suffocate in the heart,

What to say where to be silent,

On whose shoulders should I put my head,

On whose head should I put my hand,

It seems that I should write something special

On the last pages of my life.

  1. Wonderful expression. I believe this happens in almost everyone’s life. First come wish to stay alone (in silence)
Then silence come, loneliness come. That time people need company again. Your poetry says that. Sometime bi need loneliness for connecting myself with the nature. But don’t get chance. Waiting for that. As you said where to lay down? I wish to lay under the sky where only nature is present.
    Khub sundor.👌👍
    Bahut khoob.

    1. Yes, I totally agree with you. We are always starving for something or else and when we get that we long for another thing. It’s human nature. I think sometimes silence speaks better than words. So being lonely actually brings us wisdom. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. I am committed to becoming better.😀😊🙏

      1. Yeah we are committed to becoming better. I realised that I have not lived my life fully. Without wisdom, life has no meaning. When I started reading Upanishads, I realised that I am not restricted to this body by name ARUN.
Happy to read your beautiful and inspiring comments. Such comments give peace and confidence in life.
        Regards 🙏
