Dikhawa/ Pretense

Ye kya hua is duniya ko,

Simat ke reh gae sab apne me!

Kisi ko kisi se vasta nahi,

Kisi ko kisi ki parwah nahi!!

Na Jane badlav ye hua kab se,

Gar kisi ne haal  bhi poocha  galti se!

      Log ye samajh lete hain,

Aj kya kaam pad gaya mujhse!!

Ek vo waqt tha,

jo man me aya kar lete the!

Jahan dil kia Hans lete the,

Jahan man me aya ro lete the!!

Aj ye waqt aa gaya hai ki,

        Muskurana hai to tameej chahie!

Aur rona hai to tanhai chahie,

Sach poochho to bas dikhawa nahi chahie !!

🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸

What happened to this world,

Everyone is confined to themselves!

Nobody cares for anyone,

Nobody is concerned about anyone!!

Don’t know since when this change happened,

If someone asked about wellbeing mistakenly!

         People tend to misunderstand it,

As the other person needs something from them!!

There was a time,

We did whatever we wanted!

Laughed when we wanted,

Cried where we wanted!!

           In today’s world,

           You need etiquette to smile!

            Solitude to cry,

To be honest, just simplicity is needed to thrive!!

  1. Covid certainly has its influence, but our social media is also changing society. Yesterday, for example, I saw a report about TikTok and how that app creates a kind of make-believe world and discriminates against people… People live too much in a kind of cyber world and too little in real life. In the long run, this will also affect our modern society.

    1. Yes, I agree totally with your views. Our new generation is so habitual of screen that they just like to do everything in virtual world. They find it easy to quit if they don’t like someone. Fear of rejection is also less than normal world so they feel comfortable in that. πŸ™‚

    This is today’s world reality.
I feel that what you have portrayed in your poem.
Sometime I feel so bad because of limited and restricted life as far as social life is concerned.
    Missing my friends in particular.
Thanks God that we have this world of Blog, where we can express our views.
I am very happy with this world too.
All your poetries are are our feelings only. We are passing through same phases, due COVID.
Have a blissful time ahead πŸ™πŸ˜Š

    1. You are right Arun Ji. All my poetry is based on my feelings. The words come out of my mind just what I am feeling most of the time. Sometimes we feel for others also by listening to their problems and trying to find out a solution. Our WordPress community is actually very helpful. We can make friends here, learn from them and share our views and thoughts with them. It is a nice platform to vent out our feelings and feel good.
I agree that time is not favorable right now for anyone but we all have to bring out our hidden talent and strengths to face it strongly. It was the main reason why I started writing blogs. It consumes my time and I feel light when I write what I am feeling.😊😊

This is the high time we must raise our inner conscious. Share our feelings for the betterment of self and society.
To bring peace within as well as in family and neighbourhood. This way we can establish a blissful environment.
Thank you so much for sharing your feelings.
Have a great time ahead πŸ™πŸ˜Š
