Zindagi hai kya,
Ik ajab kahani hai!
Kagaj ki kashti hai,
Samander ka pani hai!!
Man khush hua to,
Sab Rumani hai!
Man dukhi hua to,
Sab bemani hai!!
Koi tej hawa ka jhonka,
Koi tez pani ki lehar!
Duba sakta hai ye kashti,
Naam Jiska zindagani hai!!
Ise Kagaj ki kashti kahun,
Ya keh dun pani ka bulbula!
Jo bhi naam de do ise,
Ye to bas any jany hai!!

What is life,
A strange story!
Just like a paper boat,
In the water of the sea!!
If happy,
Everything is romantic!
If sad,
Everything is a waste!!
A gust of strong wind,
A strong water wave!
Can drown this boat,
Which is called life!!
Should I call it a paper boat,
Or call it a water bubble!
Whatever name you give it,
It is just temporary!!
