Yaaden/Memories

Kuch yaaden dhundli si,

Jinda hain jehan me aj bhi!

Is yaad ne ik aag si sulgai hai,

Gujre jamane ki yaad Kyun dilai hai!!

Kuch Bhooli bisri baten,

yaad aai hain!

         Aj bewajah hi,

Ye ankh Kyun bhar aai hai!!

Few memories are a little bit blurry,

Still alive in my mind!

These memories have soldered Like a fire,

Why reminds me of those bygone days!!

Some forgotten things,

 Have been remembered!

         Why are these eyes,

         Filled unnecessarily today!!

    1. Yes Jim. Everything in life is not that good so we tend to be happy or sad sometimes. We recall some memories and get emotional.😊😊 But thats a phase and we feel happy after a while.

  1. Grea!
    Down to memory lane!!
Yeah, we travel through memory lanes and gets enjoyment or sometime sadness.
Everything works in the mind plane. Mind moves. Mind fluctuates. Sometime eyes are filled and some times lips are open with smile!!
We have passed our days starting from childhood- teenage- adulthood-and beyond. So many events happened. Some injuries in body, some in mind. Body injury gets healed easily. Mind injury: May not be healed till the true knowledge is gained.
Anita ji! You have created one poem which made me travel, down to my my memory lane of the teenaged period!
You are poet and scholar too.
Thank you so much for this beautiful presentation.

    1. Thank you so much Arun Ji. You have explained it very well. Yes, there are so many incidents which are very alive and when we think about that, can’t stop getting emotional. This is also right that when we were in teenage, we got hurt the most because of our vulnerability at that tender age.
Thanks for understanding the emotions behind this poem.πŸ˜ŠπŸ™
