Ae jindagy, ye to bata,
Tujhe jeena Kyun hai!
Agar ye hi khwahish hai tery,
To kuch to kaam kar!!
Aisa kuch bahana de de,
Jo jeene ke lie majboor kar de!
Aisi koi manjil de de,
Jo is safar ko suhana kar de!!
🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸
Oh life, please tell me,
Why do we have to live!
If this is your wish,
Do some work!!
Give some excuse,
That compels me to live!
Give such a destination,
That makes this journey pleasant!!
I would like to know that answer that life would give you, although I am sure that in its answer there is nothing that can force you to live life.
Nice to read you, Anita. 🤗

Thanks Martin, for reading and asking a very good question. This life is not perfect for anyone of us. But we continue to live life and do our best to lead a happy and contented life. There are times when this life gets stagnant and we are forced to think,” Is life worth living?”
Suppose we are free from our responsibilities and may be retired also. That time you ask yourself, “Why I am living this life?”
Now my answer to your question is… Yes, life can answer my question. Life can give me something new to do or can show me some path, on which I can walk and live this life more productively. Or life can give me something which I like and I can live remaining life by doing that thing.
This poem is not about me…I am connected to so many people and I love to listen to them and their problems. This question was asked to me by an elderly man whose wife is no more now and he doesn’t want to live now.
All my poems are based on daily life problems of many people by whom I am surrounded. I am in my fifties, so at present I don’t have this problem but there are many who ask this question. Being a very sensitive and emotional person I feel very bad for them.
There are some suggestions which I give to people who have left hope in this life. For example, I suggested this man to join a group of seniors his age, so that he can listen to their stories and at the same time they can play cards or do yoga and discuss so many things. Company of friends gives a boost to the mood and can teach the new methods to adjust life without a spouse.
I am sorry for such a long answer but I actually want everyone to know that life is not always what you want it to be. You have to adjust yourself and surely there will be something which will change this mindset.
Thanks once again.🙏🏻😊

Thank you so much for elaborated reply.
Absolutely right.
If a person becomes alone, after loosing life partner and doesn’t like to live more, yes what else can he or she will ask in the Life.
Seeing life from different angles have different meaning.
I am very happy to see your posts which are general one but it is regarding human life experiences, particularly of our age means more than 60 or so.
Wonderful poem.
It fits in mind: Indeed it is a genuine question.
You have replied also beautifully.
Great 😃
Thank you so much for bringing this post 😊🙏

You are right Arun Ji. Life has different angles for different people. And the phase they are going through changes their perspective to see the life. I can understand the plight of a man who was dependent on his wife the whole life and suddenly is left alone to survive on his own. Not reaching the age of sixty doesn’t stop me from thinking about people who are elder to me. Age is just a number and I wrote a blog also on this topic. I have empathy for everyone, younger or older to me and I have friends of different ages.
When children are grown up and leading their own life, that time being alone is very painful and I understand that. I am a successful woman, but I have a heart who can cry for anyone in pain.
Thank you so much for your support. 😊🙏

Happy Baisakhi to you and your family.
Today is auspicious day for us(Bengali new year)
You have a beautiful mind which thinks for human kind.
You have a beautiful heart that loves the mankind. Certainly age is not the factor. Me too have close friends of different ages, including teen aged children.
Present day children are very smart and intelligent 🤓
You think about all ages that is very unique.
Please keep on writing and sharing your thoughts with us.
I feel very happy whenever you post on mind-blowing thoughts. You have a very wide angle of viewing the things going on in our society.
After passing through many experiences of pleasure and pain, finally I have taken the path of Enlightenment 😌
Happy with studies and also sharing the gist of my studies, such that readers may get to know that philosophy:Advaita Vedanta Darshan, which is Universal knowledge, not for any particular race or religion.
It is for human kind.
Thank you so much.
Best wishes and regards 😊🙏

Wish you a very happy new year Arun Ji. Thank you for your nice words. I appreciate it. I have travelled extensively around the world and met people from all races and countries, may be that’s the reason I think world is just same everywhere. Mankind is same everywhere. we are almost same. I have many foreigner friends and they are no different from me. You can share your pains and whatever you like to share with me.
You are doing a noble job by writing about Vedanta and Upnishad. Keep writing and serving people.
Thank you so much. Today’s post is already out. Please read that.😊😊🙏🙏

I understand your feelings and there is a certain reason in what you mentioned at the end… that life is not always what you want it to be.
Just keep walking and adjust to what may come ahead.

Yes, I also advice people to go with the flow and take the life as it comes. But I understand that’s better said than done. But we can’t help them except just saying a few words of comfort. Thank you so much for sharing your views Martin. It was nice discussing this topic with you.😊😊

So much pain in this poem. But even the hardships in life can lead to something wonderful in the future. The only way to find out is to go there.

Yes D wallace, I agree that time is a big healer but there are wounds which can never be healed at any cost. Losing someone close or a spouse can be the cause of this pain and I know a few people who are suffering from this pain. My sensitive heart gets hurt seeing all this. This life gets very cruel sometimes.

True. My brother was murdered almost 20 years ago, and it’s a scar that will never fade. But it is possible, given time, to find joy again and to live and love.

Yes, I totally agree with you on this point. Whatever happens in life, we always have to move on. Time is capable in healing any scar life gives us.
