Waqt/Time

Waqt ne sikha dia mujhe,

Khud ko ghar me band rakhna!

        Na sikha paya lekin, 

        Mery soch ko kaid me rakhna!!

Ye soch hai jo ud jaty hai,

Kahin bhi bina pankh lagae!

      Pannon pe utar jaty hai,

      Yaadon ke rang sajae!!

Time has taught me,

To keep myself locked in the house!

           Couldn’t teach me,

           To keep my thinking in captivity!!

It’s the thought that time flies,

Anywhere without wings!

           The colors of memories,

           Fall on the pages!!
