Heart on my sleeve

Some people hide their feelings in tears,

Others in a smile so sincere.

But I wear my heart on my sleeve,

And express my feelings, without reprieve.

I don’t believe in hiding away,

My emotions, come what may.

             I’ll laugh, I’ll cry, I’ll shout,

And let my feelings out, no doubt.

I’m not afraid to show my heart,

To let the world see every part.

I’ll share my joy, I’ll share my pain,

And let my feelings fall like rain.

I find freedom in expressing,

My feelings, without repressing.

Hiding my feelings seems so fake,

And my soul tends to shake.

It’s better to be open and true

And let my emotions shine through.

So, while some may hide away,

Their feelings, every night and day.

I’ll express my feelings far and wide,

And let my heart take a joyous ride.
