Find a treasure in old

Come, let’s remember old things,

Let’s relive the moments of our past.

The memories that our heartstrings,

Once held, and made forever last.

Come, let’s do old things once again,

Let’s dance like we did before.

Or simply sit, and chat like old friends,

And let the memories overflow our core.

The dust on our relationships, let’s clean,

Let’s mend the cracks, and make them whole.

For there’s still love that remains unseen,

And the bonds that once held, never grow old.

Come, let’s open our hearts to each other,

And forget the fights that once drove us apart.

For in each other, we find a lover,

A friend, a confidant, a fresh start.

Come, let’s sing those old songs,

And bring back the melody of the past.

Music has a way of righting wrongs,

And make our hearts beat fast.

Let’s bring our hearts closer together,

And cherish the love that we have found together.

  1. The timing of this. My wife of 37 years and I are about to head out for a weekend at a cabin on a river. I think there will be some of this happening. The last line . . . “cherish the love that we have found together.” ❤ ❤ ❤

I feel blessed if I can give a smile to anyone for a minute. Seems like my writing has become meaningful. I wish both of you an enjoyable trip and make many memories to cherish. So many years of emotional bonding is a blessing. Stay blessed always.😊😊
